Getting there :

Closest City: Chikmagalur

By private transport: • Follow google directions to the start point using the button above. By public transport: • From Bangalore, take any KSRTC/Private overnight bus that goes to Chikmagalur. Check KSRTC/Redbus for timings. • From Chikmagalur, take an auto/cab to the Sarpadari, the starting point of the trail. This 15km ride costs around Rs. 300 for auto. • Take an auto/shared jeep from either Sarpadari or Baba Budangiri (if you decide to extend the trek) to return back to Chikmagalur.

Aditional information :
• Trekking is allowed only from 6 am to 6pm. • Take precautions against Leeches during monsoons

Entry Fee: Rs. 250 to Rs. 300 at Forest Dept checkpost

Food,Water and Stay on the trek: • Water is available only at the base, Mullayangiri temple, Manikyadhara waterfall. • You can camp overnight at Mullayanagiri hilltop. • There are few homestays, resorts, campsites option for available near Baba Budangiri.
