By private transport: • Follow google directions to the start point using the button above. By public transport: Option 1: Mumbai local train combined with State Transport Bus • Get down at Panvel railway station on the Harbour Line and go to the State transport bus station (5 mins away from the station) • Board a State Transport Bus till base village Thakurwadi (1 hour journey) • After reaching Thakurwadi, follow the marked trail Option 2: Mumbai local train combined with auto rickshaw • Get down at Panvel railway station on the Harbour Line. • Walk till the highway and hire a shared auto Rickshaw and get down at shedung phata • From Shedung Phata, hire Rickshaw till Thakurwadi Village and follow the marked trail.

Aditional information :
• No trekker will be allowed to enter the area before 6 AM and after 5 PM. • No trekker or group will be allowed to enter the fort without local guides and they will have to pay them Rs 50 for Prabalgad, and Rs 50 for Kalavantin Durg. • Plastic bags or bottles are not allowed inside the fort.
